About Us
CTSI works directly with researchers in collaboration with regulatory agencies to navigate all necessary regulatory pathways, at any stage of their research. CTSI-supported programs and resources extend to all six of Pitt’s schools of the health sciences — and through community engagement efforts — to the Pittsburgh region. Through the establishment of 12 Core divisions, CTSI is building institutional infrastructure, including educational, programmatic, facility, and equipment resources to support a wide range of clinical and translational research.
Through programs like Pitt+Me and the Pitt Innovation Challenge (PInCh®), CTSI continues to be a leader of innovation programming. With the announcement of the new Eureka Partners initiative, the Institute has once again renewed its commitment to developing cutting-edge ideas to future biomedical research at the University.
The CTSI research facilitators are research and regulatory experts who work to meet the individual needs of researchers in all aspects of their research.
The CTSI leadership team consists of knowledge leaders within the medical, scientific, and professional fields. Under their guidance, CTSI creates, supports, and encourages opportunities that better the human condition.
